Happy Chinese New Year!! Still remember one year ago you were just 6 weeks old with mittens and lie there like a innocent young kitten. One year later, you already can walk steadily! So proud of your new milestone. Just 2 weeks ago you were learning how to walk with assistance, now you can already walk.

You did not want to take your nap and we had to push you in your stroller before you managed to fall asleep.. Guess you were really tired out by the 4 days of relatives' visiting. And we had to feed you with whatever that we can made out of. Rice with soup, fried rice, sandwich just to name a few because we did not cook and bring porridge for you.

Are you a third party?

Recently we found out that you do feel jealous!

You will whine and cry when you see your daddy and mummy hug together! It is a funny scene because it makes you look like a third party :)

However, you actually do not even care a bit if we carry other kids! So why are you jealous when we hug each other? You always make us laugh out loud..

Officially stopped breastfeeding

Officially stopped breastfeeding.....

Glad that our partnership of breastfeeding worked out to 1 year and 2 weeks. Well done!

Emotional ride of breastfeeding

My initial plan was to feed you as recommended 6 mths and I would be happy that I have met the minimum.

Surprisingly, you were exclusively breastfed till 8 months and now at 1 year 1 week old, there is still little breastmilk for you.

I love the way when you latch at night, you will touch my hand and hit my chest. Sometimes i disturb you, you will chuckle when feeding. All these your papa can't give you.!

And every morning, i would be the first one to greet you-- pick u out of the cot and feed you. Without fail, 630am, 7 days a week since the day you were born!

But mummy decides that probably you can be independent of me already. Will try to wean you off. It is pretty emotional because the bonding is irreplaceable.
