Happy 1st Birthday!

Finally! Vera is one year old! I survived one year of motherhood!

She has brought alot of laughter to the family and she makes the family bond even better than before.

I wish she can grow up to be a fine lady. Most importantly is she has to be healthy and happy!

That's all I wish for her life.

Celebrated her birthday at NSRCC Tanah Merah Jumbo Seafood restaurant with the whole big family of 10. Food is fabulous and service is fantastic!

Vera's First Christmas

Vera's first christmas celebration. No party, just visited her grandmother as per usual saturday house visiting.

Still remember last year, Daddy and Mummy were anticipating your arrival. Mummy was heavily pregnant and now you are already close to one year old. How time flies!

Granny's bicycle basket is getting too squeezy. Oh! How big you have grown :)

Vera plays mahjong. Finally got to touch the tiles as you watch your us play but you could only watch afar from the sofa. Taught you 东南西北中. Hope you become mahjong queen!



Shoes...

Because it is a chinese tradition that babies cannot wear shoes until they turn one year old (maybe kids in the past begin walking after one year old), Vera finally can wear shoes on her chinese birthday! --19 Dec 2010.

Being in shoes for a mere 3 times, Vera already know where her shoes are!

Vera does this daily as routine:

She will crawl to the shoe cabinet,

open the door,

stand up and reach for her pair of shoes, 

sit down,

turn around and give it to someone nearest.

She has been observing from our daily actions that taking shoes out of the cabinet is an action to head out of the house. And she also observed that those little shoes are her pairs of shoes!

She really love going out!

Where is your head?

When asked "where is your head?" , Vera will put both her hands behind her head!

So finally you know where is your head! Taught you probably 20 times.

New bear!

Daddy bought a new bear bear for Vera for birthday!

Vera can stand!

Now Baby Vera can put herself into squatting position and push her legs to stand!

And she will applaud herself for standing with a proud grin. After 5 seconds, she will bend her legs and sit back down.

She was so amazed with her new skills, she kept repeating the whole process for the whole night!

Did a big collage for Vera.

Vera goes marketing!!

Sticky Vera

Was at home whole day to take care Vera cos her granny needs to go check up.

Realised she is a real sticky baby!!

I cannot go to toilet or even stand up! She is so afraid that I would throw her alone!

Of course I won't. I am not worried at all of her stickiness because after a few years she would not even bother about me!!

Yet I am afraid it is a sign of lpw self confidence and do not know if she can adapt to childcare?

Nonetheless, not changing her because I rather she sticks to me than not :)

Small size baby

10 months 3 weeks baby.

Weighing at only 7.7kg..

Two occurrences that people commented you looked like a 4 month old baby!

When u grow up, it can convert into a tricycle n u can cycle on your own.
